SHOPPING HAUL

image
I went home for the weekend to visit my family and friends and spend the whole 3 days shopping with my mum! I bought so much more stuff, but they were stuff for uni, such as a purple casserole dish and a jewellery organiser etc.
This is the main stuff I (or my mum - more likely my mum :P) bought. I paid a visit to my old local Primark (as you may tell) as there isn’t one in York..
001. Mirrored aviator-style sunglasses - Primark. - These were to replace my scratched ones that I bought in Switzerland when I was there over the summer. At only £2, I couldn’t refuse!
002. Panda print pyjama bottoms - Primark. - These are super cute and so comfy! I haven’t worn them yet but I saw them and fell in love with the adorable panda pattern on them.
003. Sheer black and navy/white striped sleeveless shirt - Primark. - I saw this and thought it would look really nice with leggings, or even tucked into a skirt or jeans. I must say, I’m not really fond of the drop back style shirts. When they come down too far they just look silly. Ideally if they were to have that at the back, make it so they only cover the bum.
004. Sheer blue long sleeve shirt with white collar tips - Primark. - Once again.. a Primark find. They have so many sheer shirts in at the moment, and out of them all I liked this the most. I cant pull off peter pan collars, so I thought I’d go for this one. It’s a really nice colour and has a simple design. Primark sizes come up ridiculously small in certain style tops, and with this one, I had to buy two sizes up!
005. Leather quilted patent toed ballet pumps - New Look. - I bought these primarily to take on nights out, and they fit nicely in a clutch bag as they can squash completely flat. Like any new shoe they rubbed at first, but when they’d been worn in, they look really cute.
006. Blue crop top - Primark. - There are loads of french-slogan t-shirts out there at the moment; some are nice, some are cute and some are truly merde! With the words “Salut! Salut!” on, this sweet little crop top was a must-have for me. With the spring and summer months fast approaching, I’m trying to re-stock my spring/summer wardrobe with shorts, crop tops, sandals, espadrilles, sunglasses etc. Hopefully within the next month or so I’ll have ticked off everything on my must-have shopping list!
007. Purple opia hairbrush - Primark. - At such a cheap price, and with my love of the colour purple, I thought I might as well buy this. I’ve somehow lost my Denman hairbrush, so bought this as a cheap replacement.
008. Bourjois Touche Healthy Mix Brush Concealer - Superdrug (Or any cosmetic stockist). - Again, as a replacement for my 17 concealer stick that has now well and truly run out, I got this. It seemed to match my skin tone very well and was a really good cover up for my skin imperfections.
009. Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam in 040 Fawn - Superdrug. Unlike any foundation I’ve used before, this is so cool! It comes out like a proper foam and applies like a liquid with complete coverage. They have a good range of colours to choose from that will perfectly match your skin tone. My previous foundation was a little too dark for me, so I actually took the time to do a skin match in the shop and realised I was lighter than I thought I was!
010. Brown hair donut - Primark. - Recently I’ve been really wanting one of these so my hair can look half-decent when it’s up in a bun.. and when I saw this for £1, I thought to myself “finally!” I had it in today and my hair looked good!
011. Eyelash curlers - Primark. - I’ve been needing a pair of these for quite some time.. and you know Primark.. always have what you need, and for a cheap price. Good old Primark!
012. NYC Natural Eyelashes in 973 Black - Superdrug. - At £1.99 I couldn’t NOT buy them! A girl can never have too many pairs of fake eyelashes! These are full, thick and long.. exactly what my real lashes aren’t!
013. Batiste Dry Shampoo in Diva - Asda. - I am a MASSIVE fan of Batiste. I’ve been buying their dry shampoo for years! It’s a handbag essential! Even if my hair has been washed that day, I give it a little spritz of dry shampoo to keep it looking and smelling fresh.
014. e.l.f Shimmer Pencil in 7604 Gunmetal - Eyes Lips Face - My sister actually gave me this from her e.l.f order. It’s a really nice dark metallic grey colour, and comes with a sharpener as part of it’s lid. Clever Stuff!
015. Stila Lip Glaze Mini in Fantasy CH - Again, a little gift from my sister.. She bought a mini gift set and gave one to me… but you can buy them from Boots. My particular colour I think is limited to the set, but there are so many nice ones to choose from - Grapefruit, Apricot, Guava, Cotton Candy, Amaretto, Bubble Gum, Honeysuckle and Starfruit.. They’re all pretty pearly pink shades.. and at £15.. you’ve just got to try them! http://www.boots.com/en/Stila-Lip-Glaze_1220989/
Of course on our shopping trips we visited other shops other than these few.. such as Kurt Geiger, Office, Accessorize etc.. but didn’t end up buying anything for me.. However I am very keen on getting a pair of TOMS to wear during summer.. and at £35.. They’re definitely being bought with my next pay cheque!
What have you bought recently?
Xx
