WHATS IN MY MAKE-UP BAG

image

Firstly, please excuse the terrible image quality, my camera will not even switch on anymore so I’ve had to resort to using my blackberry. Plus the lighting here isn’t so good!
This is just a cheap make up bag I got from primark a year or so ago. I think it was only a few pounds and the print is really cute, plus it is easy to keep clean because its PVC. I don’t wear a lot of make up on a daily basis but if I’m going out then I will make a bit more of an effort.

This is the stuff I use the most regularly and the basic everyday things.
Garnier Roll-on Anti-Dark circles The label has worn so I’m not sure of the shade…
Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturising Day Cream in natural. I don’t like wearing foundation during the day so I mostly use this.
Benefit That Gal Primer love this, its a fantastic base for foundation.
M.A.C Matte Powder Blush in Rose Quartz is one of my favourite daytime blushes.
Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara doesn’t clump and thickens as well as curls my lashes.
Benefit Eye Bright is amazing. buy it.
Benefit Erase Paste for days when the garnier roll on will not cover my under eye circles.
M.A.C Studio Fix Boldblack Lash & Studio Fix Lash I am not really sure why I have both, I don’t really use the studio fix, the boldblack is far superior.
Chanel Intense Eye Pencil in Black is and always will be my favourite pencil liner in the world.
NARS Lip Laquer in Chelsea Girls is a lovely neutral nude but is a little bit sticky and a pain to apply with your finger.
Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes is a lovely curling mascara with a really effective brush.
Victoria Jackson Eyes Have It Eyeshadow Basics is a palette that contains 5 eyeshadows. I only really use the matte dark brown for my eyebrows or setting eyeliner.
M.A.C Fluidline in Blacktrack is possibly my favourite piece of make up. It. Is. Awesome
Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in RSVP isn’t actually something I use, not too sure why its in my make up bag. I didn’t realise it was intended as a liner too- maybe its something worth trying.
M.A.C Fix+ is a wonder product, its really good for refreshing your make up and giving you more of a dewy look- plus it sets your make up nicely.
Stila Lip Glaze in Apricot and Kitten B1 I love these, they smell divine and are pretty moisturising too.
Tweezerman Tweezers in my opinion these are overpriced, but, out of the million different brands I’ve tried, these are definitely the best.
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Slate is spot on for creating a smokey eye. smudges a lot though.
Clarins Mascara in 07 probably needs to be thrown out, I can’t remember how long I’ve had it :s I wasn’t really impressed by it and I think there are tonnes of better mascaras out there that are a lot cheaper.
Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner in 12 and 13 are really brilliant eyeliners. I prefer the brown to the black as the black can flake after a days wear. I am terrible at applying liquid eyeliner but these are super easy to use.
M.A.C eyeshadow in Copperplate (Matte) and Amber Lights (Frost) are the only eyeshadows I wear in the daytime. They are both really long-lasting and super wearable colours.
Sephora Perfecting Cover Foundation in Medium Peach 26 is pretty decent as far as foundations go. Its not full coverage which I like because I really hate the feel of foundation on my skin. I practically stopped wearing foundation at the beginning of winter so this is actually my summer skin colour.
Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect is a lovely pinky blush with subtle shimmer.
Sephora Matifying Compact Powder in Warm Beige is a perfect match for my skin and stops it from looking gross and shiny all the time.
I hope that was interesting! let me know if you’d like a more in depth review of any of those products.
xoxo
Kirsty
