Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer

I always look terrible in winter, my skin goes a funny sallow yellow and I get massive under eye bags. The last few months have been particularly stressful for me so I've not been getting much sleep. After a particularly tiring day at work I went and treated myself to this, the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in Beige. I was tired of customers looking at me like I was a zombie, clearly the concealer i'd smeared on that morning wasn't very effective.

The girl at the counter was very friendly and wasn't at all patronising, basically she had full marks in my book until she tried to force the compact set on me. The creamy concealer can be bought individually or in a set with translucent powder to set it. I had done my research and I knew what I wanted. The amount of concealer in the duo is smaller and the powder isn't great so I didn't want to pay 24.00 when I could get more of what I actually wanted for 18.00.

It is definitely the most expensive concealer I have ever bought, but that's because I'd rather spend that sort of money on foundation or blush. I am happy with the purchase, its just the right consistency.

It doesn't slide off for at least 6 hours, longer if i set it properly. Nor does it settle in fine lines around my eyes- that's probably because I'm too young to have any yet! If you're on a budget there are plenty of concealers that will do the trick just as well.

have you tried this concealer?
xoxo Kirsty

  1. My mom has that concealer . Tried it once. To be honest, I wasn't amazed... It's very thick and heavy, and the fact that I have oily skin makes everything even worse!

    1. I guess different formulas work for different people! I have oily skin and it seems to stay pretty well once I've set it with powder, it is thick, but my eyebags are gross so it's necessary haha xo

  4. Do you set it with powder so that it stays 6+ hours or do you need to set it?

    1. It doesn't need to be set to stay on but it looks odd if I don't use any powder as it has a really 'greasy' shine due it's it's creamy formula! Xo
