Fresh | Sugar On The Go Lip Trio

Following on from the Fresh Sugar Lychee perfume I reviewed recently, I thought I'd share with you this cutie. This is the Fresh Sugar On the Go Lip Trio, essentially a tin containing three smaller-sized Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments in Original, Rosé and Tulip. It's good value because to try one full sized lip treatment would set me back nearly £20, so the equivalent of £21 to try three seemed like a good idea. I have wanted to try these for years and I was so pleased when Fresh opened a store in London and now has an online store. I had a terrible online shopping experience at christmas which has put me off a bit, and I still haven't managed to try any lip treatments so I added this to my big ole' Sephora basket.

They didn't arrive loose and rattling around in this tin, they were ensconced in a straitjacket-esque plastic evil thing. After having to ask someone else twice to help get them out, I just ripped it from the tin and put it in the bin before I thought to take a photo. I quite like the tin, I especially like that it has a decent sized mirror in so I might keep it in my handbag to corral my lip products into one place.

The size of these lip treatments is just on the wrong side of perfect. They are a little too diddy but theres a decent amount of product in each and, to be honest, it's rare that I manage to use up a whole lip product before I get bored anyway. I think these would be especially useful when you are travelling with hand luggage only because you can only fill one precious sandwich bag with liquids/gels/pastes so this would be all you'd need.

I'm impressed. They are nourishing without feeling greasy and heavy and they actually feel good for my lips. I'd put them half way between a chapstick and Nuxe Reve de Miel for effectiveness.

Swatches above are L-R Rosé & Tulip. They are very sheer colours and just add the perfect amount of subtle tint to my lips.
Fresh don't currently have any lip treatment gift sets on the UK website, but they did around Christmas time so it's worth checking back. Full size lip treatments are available here for £19.
Have you tried any Fresh products?

    1. They are so cute, and because the lid sort of screws on rather than clicks like traditional lip balm, you can be confident the lid won't fall off so it won't mess up your handbag! xo

  3. Rose and Tulip look really pretty! I have Honey and Petal, which are definitely some of my all-time most-worn lip shades :)
