DIY Lavender Themed Summer Wedding | How I Created The Wedding of My Dreams

7 months ago I married the sweetest, kindest, most generous man I've ever known. After 6 year being together and 3 years living together, on our 6 year anniversary on June 29th 2017, we got married in a barn venue in Hertfordshire.

My wedding took a lot planning, caused a lot of stress and several hours of online shopping to make sure we stayed in-budget. Luckily both our parents were very generous in helping us pay for our wedding, so the venue, food, registry fees, dress, music and flowers, being the most important purchases, were covered.  When it came to decoration and extras, it took a little more scrutiny with our self-funded portion of the overall budget to make sure we got everything we wanted, right down to the last little detail.  Bear with me, this is going to be a long post, feel free to scroll to the section most relevant to you!

How I Chose the Perfect Wedding Ring

I can't stop looking at it now the wedding's over. It all went by in a bit of a haze and I kind of feel sad that I've not got the wedding to look forward to anymore. What am I going to do with all my time now?

All are very important when finding the perfect ring for your big day and also need to be taken into consideration if you're looking for a wedding band with stones in. Of course, the 4 Cs only really apply to Diamonds, so if you're just getting a plain band, don't give yourself the added stress!
