Summer Empties: Body & Hair

Body Shop Sweet Lemon Body Scrub-Le Petit Marseillais Raspberry & Peony Shower Gel-Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair

post signature  This is the second lot of empties of stuff I managed to use up before the move.

I bought this body scrub when I still lived in Switzerland and it cost about 24CHF which was about £18 at the time. Such a rip off but I was too impatient to wait until I was back in the UK. It smells lovely, but it isn't a very good exfoliater,  I found it really greasy and not 'abrasive' enough.
The shower gel is also a remnant of a day trip to France, peonies are my favourite flower and who doesn't love the scent of raspberry? Sadly, smelling from the bottle and the scent when you use it are very different, it smelled a bit like vinegar so I don't think i'll be buying it again in a hurry.
The hair mask is fantastic, and its such a bargain, I used it about once a week and it lasted me nearly a year. It left my hair soft and smooth and felt like such a treat for my hair.

Dove Natural Touch Dead Sea Mineral Anti-Perspirant-Garnier Olia Silk & Shine Conditioner-Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or

The deodorant was pretty standard, and I don't really have a go-to brand, i'm happy to pick up whatever catches my eye whilst shopping. The Olia conditioner was nice and rich and helped curb the damage the dye did to my hair. The conditioner is much better than the dye, so it's a shame it can't be bought individually. Nuxe is possibly my favourite French brand and I really enjoyed using this oil, I dumped most of it into a bath which left my skin very sparkle-y and smooth. I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you enjoy cleaning the bathroom! I will definitely be buying the full size and discovering more from the range

Mene & Moy Advanced C Body lotion - L'oreal Play Ball anti-frizz fizz - Country Garden Body Lotion

The rose scented body lotion came in a gift set I was given for christmas, it wasn't the best formula but I love anything rose scented and I wasn't going to let it go to waste.
The Mene&Moy Skin Rejuvination System Advanced C Body Lotion was a tricky one for me, it is supposedly a wonder product but I don't think it really worked. Everyone is different and what works for one won't necessarily work for another so I'll have to chalk this one up to (an expensive) experience. I am quite keen to try some of the other MM products though.
This is probably my favourite hairspray, It holds really well and brushes out easily, I'll be repurchasing once i've worked my way through the Tresemme hairspray from an old Glossybox.

have you finished any interesting products recently?

  1. I've wanted to try a body shop scrub for ages, I might pick up the mango one at some point!

    1. The mango one smells delicious, but I think the Peach and Coconut scrubs are my favourites :)
