I was surprised to learn that the Eclat Minute range included any base make up, which goes to show how much attention I pay these days. I love love love my Natural Lip Perfector and Im happy to report that my feelings for this beaut are the same. The Clarins Instant Light Complexion Perfector in 03 Bronze Shimmer is fast becoming one of my pre-Spring must haves.
Over Autumn/Winter my tan fades, my skin takes on a grey hue and I generally look a bit unwell until Spring rolls around and I get a bit of colour on my chops.
I'm not the biggest fan of bronzers for adding colour and I tend to limit any use to a bit of subtle contouring, but this has changed my life (Dramatic, I know). I haven't bothered to buy a new foundation since my trusty Rimmel Wake Me Up stopped matching my skin colour and I've been going through BB cream like nobody's business.
My skin seems to be fairly calm at the moment so I've been able to get away with just a blob of this mixed into my moisturiser. It's quick and effective and leaves my skin all dewy and glowey without the unnatural colouring of fake tan. It makes my skin look more even as well which is a bonus.
I hope to be able to use this to highlight the lovely tan I will acquire as soon as the weather perks up. It's light and not overly sparkly. I like how subtle it is, because I don't think I can really get away with blatant shiny bronze despite my olive skin.
My skin swings between oily and dry and this doesn't affect the longevity of my make up in any way. It doesn't highlight dry patches in the way that my foundation often used to and i'd be interested to see how it works under foundation rather than just a lightweight BB cream. Its available here for £26 and comes in a few lighter shades for any paler ladies.
