Philosophy Mini Haul

14.00 each

Hi Girlies, Hope you are all well! These are the things I ordered from Philosophy online when I was still in Kosovo and were waiting for me at my parents house when I got back to England. I had seen Philosophy's iconic bottles loads on Tumblr and thought that they were awesome but when I saw the price I had decided not to bother when there are plenty of alternatives available with similarly cute packaging. I did a bit more research into the brand and completely changed my mind.

This is the Philosophy blurb:

"philosophy is a brand that approaches personal care from a skin care point of view, while celebrating the beauty of the human spirit. we believe in miracles and the beauty in everyone."

They were also offering a free gift for purchases over 25.00 so I couldn't really stop myself. I went for Cinnamon Buns because I thought it would smell amazing (it does) and Melon Daiquiri. The unique thing about Philosophy is that they print actual recipes on the bottles according to the names. I have not had the chance to make the buns yet (I'm keen) but thats because I don't have an oven yet.

Each bottle is 480ml which (hopefully) should last me quite some time. So far I have only used the Cinnamon Buns as a Bath gel. My whole bathroom smelled edible and my skin was left feeling very soft. These gels can actually be used as a shower gel, bath gel or shampoo which is nice and multi-purpose. It goes a bit towards making me feel like I am getting value for money too. As you can see above the free gifts came in a shiny little bag.

Inside were a 12ml Hope in a jar and 30ml each of Amazing Grace and Purity. Hope In A Jar is a moisturiser which I have read rave reviews about so I am looking forward to using it. Amazing Grace, which I also got a 15ml sample sachet of, is a shampoo/ bath & shower gel like the full sized bottles I ordered. Purity is a facial cleanser. Philosophy also let you choose 2 free samples to be sent with your order. I chose The Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash which I have heard is amazing but was 22.00 so I wanted to try it first! I did not realise that Amazing Grace would be part of my free gift, otherwise i would have chosen another free sample.

Have you ever used a Philosophy product? What did you think?

xoxo Kirsty

  1. I adore Philosophy! Melon Daiquiri one in April and it only ran out in August and I used it everyday and used it as bubble bath too! So you do get your moneys worth :) It smells amazing which I love. I personally wouldn't use it as a shampoo I found it very heavy and my hair didn't feel clean. Smelt great though ha :)

    1. That's great! Thanks for the follow :) I really wanted to buy a pump for the bottles, like they have on the US philosophy site, but they're not available in the UK :( I'm looking forward to trying the daiquiri, I need to finish a few half empty shower gels first.
Well have a look at your blog xo
