Recent Purchases: Haircare

I have used Schwarzkopf Gliss products before when I was living in Switzerland and they were quite pricey, so when I saw these for a couple of euros a piece in Kosovo I stocked up. Little did I know that the hair repair spray was only around 1.00 here! I bought the Liquid Silk Express Repair Conditioner. I really like the cashmere hair mask as it leaves my hair super soft and light-feeling. Its always good to have a heavy duty mask in stock.
I also bought some new kirby grips because I have a knack for losing them and end up having to buy new ones every 6 months. I have tried a lot of different brands and the Boots ones are still my favourite as they are harder to bend completely out of shape and therefore ruin.

I have wanted salt spray for ages as I have seen the different looks you can create with it. I really liked mussed up hair at the moment -as opposed to as sleek as possible which I normally strive for. I did not want to splash out on the famous bumble and bumble beach spray until I was sure that it was a look that would suit me. I found this in Superdrug for about 2.50 which is very reasonable. It works well and I'm impressed so far.  It is called, quite simply, Salt Spray.

I have been trying to embrace my naturally curly hair recently with little success. My hair doesn't go into proper ringlets its just sort of a mess. I wanted some mousse so that I could define my curls better. Previously, I had a strong hatred for mousse because it left my hair crispy and generally disgusting. This Curly Hair Mousse from Boots does the trick. Its not too strong and defines my curls nicely without leaving a stick residue or my hair feeling like its been deep fried in batter. I paid for it with my points so I cannot remember the exact price, but it was around 1.00.

The lovely Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair repair for dry, drained hair. Which I can strongly recommend.

Do you use any of these products? What do you think of them?
xoxo Kirsty
