What's In My Makeup Bag

post signature Thought I'd update you on what makeup I'm using nowadays as I haven't blogged about them in a while!

As you probably already know, I don't usually go for the expensive brands due to my budget, but there are certain things I'll splash out for; mascara, foundation and brushes!

Take a look at what is always in my makeup bag...

 So here it all is..

Eyes:

-Seventeen 48 Hour Wear Tattoo Me Semi-Permanent Liquid Eyeliner -
-Garnier Anti-Dark Circles Roll On-
-Benefit They're Real! Mascara-
-Sephora Heated Eyelash Curlers-
-Vital Radiance Slanted Eyebrow Brush-
-Zwilling Slanted Tweezers-
-Cresty Costmetics Semi-Permanent Eyebrow Kit in Dark Brown-
These are defiantly my must-haves at the moment, the eyeliner lasts 2 days so its okay to sleep in it and it won't smudge - great when I work early shifts and come home late at night! However, you do need an oil based makeup remover to take it off. The roll-on makes me look more awake by brightening and concealing my dark circles. They're Real! combined with my new heated eyelash curlers make my rather short eyelashes look a mile long! Take a look at my recent post for some tips on long lashes. My Zwilling Tweezers are my emergency tool for the stray hairs I spot upon glancing in the mirror. Finally is my eyebrow kit.. bought at a BNTM event in London 2 years ago, this stuff is lasting! The lid is now broken.. but there's at least another 2 years use in it!

Face:

-M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in C4.5-
-No7 Stay Perfect Blemish Cover Concealer in Dark-
-Benefit The POREfessional Pro balm-
-Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder in 52-
-MUJI Cosmetic Paper-
-Sephora Concealer Brush-
-Real Techniques Foundation Brush-
Again beauty must-haves!  I love my new Sephora brush, its great at covering up blemishes and creating an even finish. My concealer isn't really matched to my skintone well; its the darkest shade they have but still isn't dark enough! My next purchase will have to be the MAC concealer that goes with my foundation! POREfessional is literally the best primer I have ever owned! It makes my skin feel silky smooth and creates a smooth base for my foundation. I recently lost my No7 kabuki brush so I'm using an old crappy brush with my Bronzer at the moment. Another thing to add to my To Buy List. Using the bronzer in areas that contour my face can transform my face shape, enhancing my cheekbones and thinning my nose. Kim Kardashian's contouring technique is bar far the best. I have to change foundation every couple of months as my face shade changes so often, I've gone through 4 shades in the last year and a half! Together with my real Techniques Foundation brush, leaves a flawless finish to an otherwise mismatched skintone. I usually use my real Techniques Stippling brush too, but I've left that in York with the rest of my make up! :(
Finally.. something that should be in every girls' bag.. Shine control papers! These come in handy so often. If you've not got loose powder handy, wipe one of these babies over your face and your shiny, oily complexion turns silky and smooth in one stroke!

The Rest:

-Johnson & Johnson Bebe Young Care Rose Lipbalm-
-Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Moss Lipstick in 05-
-Beauty Blender Classic Makeup Sponge in Pink-
-Bobby Pins-

This make up sponge I got in my March Birchbox (which I've just realised I didn't review!) the lack of edges like most square sponges means no lines are left in the foundation or base, leaving a smooth finish. I always carry a lipstick with me just incase it may be needed. This is my failsafe shade at the moment. not too bright and not too subtle. Perfect. I also ALWAYS have this Bebe lipbalm with me. We've raved about it before many a time. Its just amazing. Get one!
Finally.. Hair clips (or bobby pins whatever you want to call them).. you never know when you may need them!

Well that's what I've got...

Do you love any of these products? What do you have in your makeup bag?
