Muji Beauty

Muji Beauty

I'm a huge fan of Muji acrylic storage and my local store never seems to have the right drawers in stock which means I find myself in there to check if they have them in. Invariably, they have sold out on the day they arrive and I can't be faffed with paying for postage if I bought them online when the shop is only 50m from my front door. I always have a browse around and pick up highlighters and mugs that I don't really need and recently came across a few beauty bits that have really come in handy.

The rubber strip in my Shu Uemura eyelash curlers had worn out and Muji makes really cheap replacement ones. Fortunately for me, I have the older curlers because I'm not entirely sure the new rubber strips are the same shape.

Muji Cotton buds
I use cotton buds on a daily basis when applying make up, if I want a sharper edge for my eyeliner or eyeshadow they come in handy. I usually sneeze just after I have put on mascara which, as you can imagine, makes quite a mess. These are mini, skinny cotton buds which makes them extra useful for dabbing immediately underneath my lower eyelashes without clumping them all together. They are also great for when I get a bit over enthusiastic with the brow wax.
I also found some Peelable Cotton which are 4-ply thin, cotton pads. I much prefer using these to remove my make up than the usual round cotton pads as I don't have to rub as hard. At nearly €4 for the packet though, they aren't as affordable as the traditional pads. I usually use one layer for each eye and then either 1 or 2 of what's left for my face depending on weather I'm wearing foundation.

What beauty bits from Muji would you recommend?
