Tarte | Tarteist Blush Palette

Tarte Tarteist Blush Palette

The Tarte Tarteist Blush Palette is finally in my life. Isn't the packaging just the cutest? I have seen this palette crop up on Instagram hundreds of times and I have coveted it something chronic.  I'm a sucker for packaging and this spoke to my soul, add in 4 gorgeous, wearable, pigmented blush shades and i'm sold.

Tarte Tarteist Blush Palette

I've found myself reaching for palettes more and more recently. In part due to the release of some fantastic palettes in the past year, but also because I travel quite often and individual blushes are bulky and don't offer enough choice. This Tarte Tarteist palette was one of my US Sephora purchases, the only UK stockist of Tarte is QVC and despite checking their site multiple times a week, I have never seen this beauty listed for sale.

The four shades in this palette, from left to right, are: Live, Laugh, Love and Dream. The names are a bit cringey, but the shades are simply stunning. You don't need a ton of product because they are so pigmented and the shades are pretty good for most skin tones. I have olive-ish skin and all of these suit me well. There's a fairly generous amount of each product too, so I can see this lasting me quite some time.

The actual palette itself isn't as sturdy as I had hopes, and it feels disappointingly cheap. But it isn't an expensive product. I love love love that there is a mirror in here, because it makes it so much more convenient to use (I'm looking at you Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow). I can't find it on the Sephora website anymore, but you can buy individual Amazonian Clay Blushes for $28 here. As far as i'm aware, Tarte is one of the brands that Sephora won't ship to the UK *boo*. FYI Tarte are vegan and cruelty free.

  1. Wow, it is gorgeous! I haven't tried anything from Tarte, but I love the look of the bloom eyeshadow palette - and this! Love the photos :)

    1. It would seem so! These are the first i've tried and i'm suitably impressed, there's definitely a shade for every occasion. xo

  3. Even I'm not the biggest blush fan, I have to admit that the shade Love is gorgeous (Laugh isn't bad as well)! It's just a shame that the packaging isn't as sturdy as it looks!

    1. I have a love/hate relationship with blush. Sometimes I nail it and look nicely rosy-cheeked and the rest of the time I look like a child has found her mothers make up stash. I do find matte shades like Love are a bit easier to work with fortunately! I think i'm just comparing it unfavourably to clunkier/ board palettes i've been reaching for lately rather than on its own merit! xo

    1. Ooh that's good to know, thanks Jasmine! I'm so annoyed Tarte went with QVC, why can't they do a deal with a normal shop, it's so frustrating. xo

  5. 'Laugh' looks so pretty! Sadly I won't be able to get my hands on this as I'm in the UK!

    1. It's such a pain isn't it? Your best bet is watching the QVC website like a hawk because they often sell little palettes with eyeshadow and a blush shade in! xo

    1. Isn't it just? Tell me about it, theres so much more I want to try. Maybe we need to get a petition going so Tarte is stocked in Boots or somewhere actually decent and convenient. xo

  7. I own seriously far too many blushes but this palette has just made me feel as if my collection is in desperate need!! How stunning are 'laugh' and 'love' - they look like my perfect neutrals and 'live' and 'dream' look great for more of a pop of colour. What a beauty, wish tarte was so easily available in the UK! xx

    1. I know the feeling, I thought it was true love with the Zoeva blush palette but I see now I was wrong ;) haha I'm half scared to use it because I want it to last forever and half so obsessed I can't stop myself! xo

  8. I've never tried Tarte products before since they're so hard to get hold of over here in the UK, but this blush palette looks beautiful! More brands definitely need to start making compact blush palettes, I'd snap them up straight away!

  9. The blush colors themselves look very pretty! It's a shame the packaging isn't as nice.
