#BloggersXmas 2016 | Sat 19th Nov | Finch's Pub

bloggersxmas

Another year, another amazing #BloggersXmas!

When organising these events, we never expect such kindness and incredible feedback from both the bloggers and the brands exhibiting. The blogging community is actually amazing. The offers of help from so many of you was so greatly appreciated! A huge thank you to Juanita Shikira and The Life of Vanisha for coming early to help us out, especially when we had that little crisis!

The brand line up this year was amazing and we're so privileged to have had the opportunity to work with them all and have them request to join us again next year!

The food at Finch's Pub once again was amazing, substantive and filling and the drinks were on point as usual. They really are a great space to fill, relax, have fun and trust that they'll do everything they can to make sure it's a success, including looking after deliveries, helping you set out the tables, making you an extra strong cocktail to help relieve stress, you name it.

The event guides (minus my two errors, whoops) were amazing quality too, Stress Free Print really are time and life savers. Triple checking things over with you to make sure artwork is pin-sharp and giving you a personal service despite being so quick and easy online makes you feel like you're working with a small, family run business that really care about each and every one of their customers, whilst still keeping prices extraordinarily low.

As brands go, we always manage to find the nicest brands to work with (bar one) who will really put in a lot of effort to make their stands look amazing, enticing and be really warm and gracious and welcoming with all the bloggers who go to speak to them. At the end of the day, it's the brands that really are the essence of the entire event, if the brands are awful or irrelevant, the event wouldn't be a success, and this one definitely was, and that's all down to the brands.

All in all, we had a trending hashtag for 4 hours, had over 150 bloggers attend and worked with over 35 brands to bring you #BloggersXmas again this year. Hopefully next year will be even bigger and better still.

We're so grateful for all the positive feedback we've gotten and were completely overwhelmed by the number of you all that came this year. Here's to bigger and better next year!

We're loving reading everyone's reviews of the event and the goody bags. If you fancy a read, you can find them all on our events page :) Be sure to tag us in any posts so we can give them a read too, we'd love to know what you thought.

All the brands had amazing stalls, but I really have to hand it to Jewellery Box, our main sponsor and PNY, our secondary sponsor who made sure their stands were engaging, eye catching and lots of fun. Jewellery Box's winter wonderland full of gorgeous rings and necklaces and PNY's wheel of fortune game drew everyone's attention, and gave everyone the ability to win something super cool.

Sadly, our third sponsor Skinfix couldn't make it to the event but were very generous with gifting in the goody bags and gave a massive hamper full of pampering bits for a lucky blogger to win. (1 week Mary won!)

We will go into more detail about each brand in separate posts in the upcoming weeks, but we'll leave you with lots of pictures from the event!

We had so much fun organising this event for you all, can't wait to get started on next year's!

  2. Well done guys! The event looks like such a success, the blogger posts I've read have all been positive ones too.

I'm gutted I wasn't able to afford the train fare after I won a ticket. Thank you again and I hope I can plan in advance next year so I can attend!

You did so well with the event, good luck with next years planning!
