You may have seen that I bought this at a student night a few weeks ago whilst the MAC concession in Fenwicks were offering a 10% discount to students. The usual price is 21.00.
I had run out of my usual loose powder and I was looking for an alternative that I could use on the go.
It matches my skin tone perfectly (I use MAC Matchmaster Foundation in 1.5). This is also the first "mineralised" product that I have tried. Minerals are good for skin, so skin make up containing them is supposed to help your skin.
Its also much prettier than usual pressed powder compacts, which does not hurt! It blends perfectly and lasts about 6 hours on. Its not got a great deal of coverage, but it does the job, as I only want it to set my foundation. It has made my face look a bit cakey on occasion but a quick spritz of fix+ and it was sorted. I am undecided on how good value for money it is. It does not do anything special, but it matches my skin much better than previous powders have, so I am happy.
Do you use this compact? What do you think of it?

I love these! I use mine to set my make up, and when I'm less tanned I use it for contouring! So lucky MAC gave 10% off to students on student night xxx
ReplyDeleteMe too! My tan is fading so fast, I think I'm nearly paler than I was to begin with :( I wasn't planning on purchasing anything for a while, but who can resist a discount!
