I'm desperately in need of a new foundation because I cleverly left mine back in the UK in June and have used a BB cream all summer. This is the shortlist for my next one.
September is a bit of a tricky time to be buying a new foundation- in terms of my skin colour its a transition period between summer tan and winter washed out. I'm going to go for a colour just one shade lighter than my current colour because within the next couple of weeks my tan will fade dramatically.
1 Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation £9.99 I have read so many rave reviews about this product that i'm really keen to give it a go. I haven't used a Bourjois foundation since I was about 17 and it was a weird bottle & brush 2in1 combo that put me off a bit.
2 Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation £34.50 This is another that has quite a presence in the bloggersphere, its pricey for a foundation but if it's as good as everyone seems to think then I will feel as if i've got my moneys' worth.
3 Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua £32.00 This is actually one of the foundations I cleverly left behind when I left the UK and I do miss it dearly. It has such a light formula and I love the fact it contains SPF.
4 Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation £33.00 I've been dying to try a Laura Mercier foundation for ages now and I think this will really suit my skin.
Unfortunately I am still in Kosovo which has a ridiculously limited array of make up brands available. I'll be lucky if I can get my hands on some Bourjois and trying another will have to wait until I get to France.
Which foundation would you recommend?
