Fresh | Sugar Lychee Eau de Parfum Rollerball

This was a bit of an impulse purchase, I know Fresh is now available in the UK but I got all panicky when I was adding things to my Sephora basket and decided I simply had to have a perfume rollerball. Clever little me obviously went for a scent I had never sampled before rather than one I knew i'd love and use. I'm so jealous that American ladies can basically get their favourite scent in rollerball form and we are stuck with clunky perfume bottles or a travelo atomiser -They are so much more convenient for travel and I feel less wasteful using one because I don't end up spritzing half the bottle into my eye/hair/nose rather than my wrist. I chose the Fresh Sugar Lychee Eau de Parfum Rollerball. 

I'm terrible at describing perfume beyond 'it's nice' so I'll give you the official blurb.

I can't say that I have noticed any lychee or mango and I don't even know what tonka bean is, but I guess it's a bit like wine when they lie and say it has notes of strawberry and elderflower or whatever when it actually just tastes like wine. I do like this scent, it is completely unlike any other perfume I use normally but it is light and fresh and perfect for summer. Its Eau de Parfum as well which means it's a little bit stronger and longer lasting than an eau de toilette. My usual favourites are Chanel Chance Eau Tendre  or Mademoiselle and Marc Jacobs Kumquat if that gives you an idea of the genre of scent this falls into. It will definitely be a nice addition to travel beauty bag for my upcoming trips to Paris and Dubrovnik.

The packaging is cute, I love Fresh in general for this but the box is a little bulky and i'm not sure i'd be happy to have such a delicate glass tube loose in my large handbag without it. My solution to that is to put on of those travel mesh thingumajigs that you use for make up brushes, which you can find here.  In terms of value for money I haven't really made my mind up yet, I guess when you think about how much a branded perfume costs, $25 is relatively inexpensive but then there is only 10ml in the rollerball soooo it's basically more than Chanel per ml.
