Maybelline Baby Lips Review

Hi Girlies!
I adore lip balm, there are few thinks more icky than having crispy lips, I have wanted one of these for the longest time but sadly they are not available in the UK but a friend of mine went to New York over Easter and brought me back one. She chose the Grape Vine (20) because she said she felt hungry at the time.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine in 13 Pink in Paris

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine in 13 Pink in Paris

I finally caved and bought this beauty of a YSL lipstick in Pink in Paris. It set me back just over £20 which is extortionate for a lipstick but they are so pretty (and surprisingly good) that I feel it was justified. The packaging alone is stunning and the lipstick is highly pigmented, deliciously scented and long lasting. It literally smells like watermelon and is a lovely vivid pink which suits my olive skin/dark hair combo. YSL say it has a luscious texture and aqua shine effect, which I will agree with. I usually prefer matte lipsticks but shine for this colour is more appropriate.

How I Care For My Hair

Hi Girlies,

My hair is naturally curly/wavy/wild and I have to use a lot of heat to style it nicely which means that without a trim every couple of weeks my hair would quickly get very disgusting if I didn't use products to help keep it in good condition. I've also messed about with the colour recently which has left it feeling very dry and damaged.

Little Skincare Haul: Lierac

Hi Girlies! You may have seen on twitter how much I go on about Lierac, their stuff is fantastic. I wanted to stock up before I moved back to the UK last October but I spent all my money in Sephora (can you blame me?!) which meant I couldn't afford the €30 price tag for this cream. As I've said before, Skincare is the most important part of a beauty regime and its worth spending the extra money to ensure you don't look wrinkley prematurely. LIERAC HYDRA-CHRONO rich nourishing cream is the ideal day cream for days when skin feels dehydrated and dull. It is really for dry and very dry skin and although my skin is normal/oily it can get very dry, especially in bad weather.

Sleek Brow Kit

Hi Girlies,

I'm sure you know how important brows are for lifting and shaping your face, they are definitely a major part of my daily routine and I would happily leave the house with only my eyebrows done.

First ever MISS GLOSSYBOX: Review

Hi girlies!

When i heard Glossybox was launching another box I was really quite over excited, they said it was aimed at their younger subscribers. Now I'm 21 and 10 months and consider myself to be young still and bearing in mind normal glossyboxes often contain anti ageing/ wrinkle products I thought 'younger' subscribers meant me. I was most definitely wrong. If I were considerably younger I would have been absolutely thrilled with the miss glossybox as everything included is something I wanted or already used in my early teens. That's not to say I completely wasted my money (less than £10 including p&p). I will probably use everything in the box, or rather, bag but it is clear that Glossybox is luxury in comparison. Rather than a box every month, miss glossybox is every 2 months and more information can be found on their website www.glossybox.co.uk. If you are a young teen or like beauty on a budget I would definitely recommend this. Even the 'menu' is clearly aimed at younger women as I felt the language used was a little patronising.

APRIL 2013 Glossybox Review

Hi Girlies!
Back in April Glossybox teamed up with Pearl Lowe to design a really cute one-off box. This box was filled with great brands and really useable products with the theme of spring fever. I adore the pattern on the box and will have to find something to store inside it to justify keeping it.

MAY 2013 Glossybox: 2nd Birthday Box

Hi Girlies, I hope spring is all treating you well! I've had a hectic couple of months so its been a pain trying to squeeze in time for blogging which is why I have such a backlog of lovely products to blog about, including 3 glossyboxes.
I love spring because its finally okay to switch from dark, red hues of nail polish to pastels and brights and allows me to be a bit more experimental with make up looks.

I don't mention this every month because I assume you know what Glossybox is but I thought I should just reiterate that it's a monthly subscription beauty box that comes in the post, containing about 5, often luxury, samples or full sized products. It only costs around £10 plus p&p, but you can find out more at glossybox.co.uk. This box had a value of nearly £50.
