REVIEW: Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Bronze

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Bronze

post signature Today I thought I'd review my Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact because I'm trying to cling onto the Autumn sun and get the most out of my tan whilst I still have it. Bronzer is a fantastic way to add a little extra colour and shimmer to your cheeks. I chose the Bronze Compact because it best suits my olive skin tone and the warm colours are really complementary to the other products I use.

It's a really versatile palette and I have gotten quite a lot of use out of it. The colours are actually quite subtle and easily build-able if you want a stronger look.  I even use the lightest strip as a highlighter for my cheekbones and brow bone.

The compact has taken quite a bit of bashing about in my make up bag which means the product itself is loose. Its great for a better photo but I really need to wap out a glue gun and fix it. I have also used this for a slight contour. The darkest shades are good for creating 'better' cheekbones. The colours also make lovely neutral eyeshadow colours and paired with Urban Decay Primer Potion last for ages on my lids.

Please ignore the weird bruise like marks, its just the way the camera picked up my veins (gross, I know). As you can see the colours are very shimmery (It is a Shimmer Brick after all!) and quite subtle when applied lightly. Its available here for £32.

What products do you use for bronzing/contouring?
