I bought this Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector a fair few months ago and I wanted to get some use out of it before I wrote a review. Beauty bloggers had been going on about this lip gloss for a while so I thought it was probably worth a try. I went for shade 3, Nude Shimmer because I thought it complemented my lips the best. I wanted to have as neutral a colour as possible so that it wouldn't distract from my eye make up.
The finish is slightly glossy and thankfully, not gloopy. The applicator is really good and its easy to evenly apply the product to my lips. Nude Shimmer really is the perfect my-lips-but-better shade and it looks much more natural than a nude lipstick. The gloss is sheer which, obviously, reflects the light well.
It smells like caramel which is always a winner with me. I'd say the only downside was the amount of product in the tube, £17 is a bit cheeky for 12ml. Having said that, it has lasted a really long time and doesn't seem to be running out. I'm keen to try a few other shades such as rose shimmer next.
