October Empties

Clarins Body Shaping Cream, Clarins High Definition Body Lift, Batiste Dry Shampoo, Balmi Raspberry, Sephora Keep Matt! Blotting Papers & Dove maximum protection

post signature  I've been on a bit of a mission to use up products that I took with me to Kosovo, mainly because then I can justify buying a load of new toiletries! I also don't want to use up valuable luggage space with half used products.

Clarins High Definition Body Lift and Clarins Body Shaping cream

Clarins High Definition Body Lift Which I reviewed here so I won't go into much detail. I think I'll be looking into more purse friendly lifting moisturisers before I consider repurchasing this.

Clarins Body Shaping Cream Sadly (but obvs) doesn't do what it says on the tin. It wasn't moisturising enough for me to justify buying this again.

Batiste Dry Shampoo 'urban & edgy Graffiti' scented

Batiste Dry Shampoo 'urban & edgy Graffiti' Dry shampoo has become a staple beauty product but I haven't used it very much over the last year. I've had this bottle since last October I think! It never really leaves my hair feeling any better and I only rely on it when I my hair is at the point that it is no longer decent to take out in public. This takes the edge of and buys me another day before washing at most. It doesn't bring any life back to my hair and leaves an icky residue, having said that, Batiste make far superior dry shampoos to any others I have tried. I don't think I will buy any more any time soon because nothing can compete with the feeling of actually clean hair.

Dove Maximum Protection Anti Perspirant, Sephora Keep Matt! Blotting Papers & Balmi Raspberry Lip Balm

Dove Maximum Protection Anti Perspirant Which I reviewed here. It's a decent deodorant but in the winter I prefer a spray because the cold feeling doesn't last as long. Plus I just bought 2 giant cans in Tesco for £4 and this little stick was £5 all by itself.

Sephora Keep Matt! Blotting Papers These are a godsend during the hotter months, when powder just won't cut it for keeping the shine at bay. I have tried some better ones recently, including ones made by Kleenex! When I finally move to Paris I will probably stock up on more of these in Sephora as they are pretty cheap.

Balmi Raspberry I must confess that this is not actually empty. The lid came off in my lovely mulberry pouch and melted/smushed itself nicely into the fabric. After that incident I can't really bear to use it anymore, it makes me too sad. The little claspy-click actually broke so I don't think I can trust Balmi again- although maybe the squares are better? Eos for life...

What products have you finished this month?
