I've lived in paris for 8 months and i've only just gotten around to going to Disneyland, we bought tickets just in time to benefit from the deal that's available only during the non-summer months for French residents. We managed to get tickets for both parks for 2 adults, for the same as 1 adult ticket, which I was really pleased about because it meant more spending money for souvenirs!
I last went about 4 years ago, and don't really remember paying attention to any of the parades or shows so I was really glad to catch the cute Spring celebration one that seemed to be repeated every couple of hours.
I dithered so much over buying the Minnie Mouse ears, but i'm really glad I did. Everyone had them, so I wasn't the only adult without children there that had regressed to a 5 year old. They were only about €12 and hopefully I'll get the opportunity to wear them there again.
There is literally no healthy food in Disneyland, but I was enjoying myself too much to care. I actually had a burger for lunch & dinner. The burger-type restaurants are quite expensive for fast food but that's to be expected from Disney really. There are some much nicer restaurants up in the Disney Village which is where we went to find dinner and try and watch the France v. Switzerland match.
Why can I never find a Pomme d'Amour that looks like this in England? It was so good, and even actual apple was yummy & crunchy too.
I sort of wanted these but decided they crossed the line of tacky by just a bit. It would be so easy to spend hundreds on souvenirs there and there is so much that can't be bought anywhere else.
It looked cloudy, but it turned out to be a lovely, hot day. It would have been so nice to stay in this hotel rather than trek home on the RER which took nearly an hour. My feet were absolutely killing me after running around from 8:30am til past midnight.
This is the only non-edible souvenir I bought, and it's for making food! I figured I'd never find another Eiffel Tower/Mickey Ears cookie cutter again so I just bought it and i'm looking forward to making and decorating such cute biscuits.
Have you been to
Disneyland Paris?
nice photos, i'd love to go one day!
